Happy & Fearless
Before I start off this post first I want to thank God for his many blessings and for giving me the gift of true joy. I want to thank my family for just always being there and supporting me. I want to thank my best friend Giselle for putting up with me and inspiring me daily, honestly I don't know what I would do without her. Finally, I want to thank all of you for supporting me and telling me to keep going with my blog. You guys rock! :)
Okay back to business.
So today's post (as you can clearly tell by the title) is about happiness and fearlessness. Being happy and being fearless are the two main goals that I have for myself in 2015 and let me tell you it is working!
Giselle and I adopted the motto "fearless" at the beginning of this of this month while ice skating. When we first got on the ice we were definitely freaking out. We held onto the wall and wouldn't let go.As we looked around the room we noticed that a lot of adults were holding onto the walls of the rink as well, however, the kids were in the middle of the rink skating fast, spinning, and doing tricks! At that moment we began to question, where does that spirit of fearlessness stop?
Does it stop when we get to high school and are expected to have perfect grades, which causes us to want to take courses that will only result in an A? Does it stop in middle school when we learn about fashion trends and the "cool" way to wear your hair? Or does it stop in elementary school when your mom told you not to jump off that swing again or you'd be in trouble?
Wherever it stopped, the spirit of fear is consuming so many of us.
After a very powerful discussion (lol) Giselle and I decided to be fearless and skate in the middle and do tricks. It was a lot of fun!
After I left the skating rink that day I took the spirit of fearlessness with me and started applying for new things, trying new things, and starting to do all the things that I always wanted to do but was too afraid.
One of the new things that I'm doing this year is taking an acting course! Many of you know that I'm staring in a new web series called Bad Religion. Those who know me also know that auditioning for the role of Yona (my character) took so much courage for me. In the past I've been the type of person who believed in everyone else's dreams but couldn't believe in her own.
Honestly, I continually thank God for my dad Timothy Robinson for encouraging me to not skip out on my audition that day. I also constantly thank God for making me brave.
Okay back to my acting class.
So on the first day of class my acting teacher announced that you can't be successful in this course with a spirit of fear. "Fear is the death of creativity."
As I sat there I was like WOW! The idea of letting go of fear is so big in my life right now! It was exciting and encouraging.
So, this year God has place the spirit of fearlessness on my heart. He has also blessed me to be able to go on this "No Dating" journey.
I'll be honest with you a couple days before my journey I cried. I was getting on an airplane and all of a sudden the spirit of fear came over me. Fear that I wasn't cut out for this journey. Fear that all the people who told me it was stupid were right. Most of all fear that I would never find my guy if I went on this journey right now. I'm so thankful for my mother who encouraged me in that moment and told me that I didn't HAVE to do anything BUT if this is something that I promised myself I would do then I will be so happy when I accomplish that goal. Many tears and prayers later I'm doing great! Well, I still have my days but I'm a lot more sure of myself. my journey, and of God's purpose in my life.
I hope this post today had something in it that inspires you! I know there wasn't direct advice on how to be happy or fearless but trust those tips will come. For right now I just wanted to give you guys a mini update and encourage you to take on the spirit of fearlessness in 2015! I promise you I am so much happier because of it.

Read Your Bible More
Be honest, when was the last time you opened your bible outside of sunday morning worship service?
If you're are like me and you want to open the good book a lot more than last year keep reading! Here are three 3 sources that I will be using this year to make sure my bible isn't collecting dust.
1. Download A Study Plan from your Bible App

2. Her Binder Project
I must give credit to my little sister Lexie who informed me about this awesome site. This site allows you to download a devotional calendar along with weekly study guides. The calendar is super adorable and colorful and helps make daily worship fun! Print off your calendar today and put it in a binder. Then decorate the binder! This brings bible journaling to a new level. CLICK HERE
3. READ!
Christian based books have a ton of scriptures in them. As you read these motivational and self help books make sure you write down the scriptures and go back and look at them in your bible. If your stuck on what book to get check out my "bookshelf" list on the sidebar of my website to see what books I'm reading.
I hope these ideas help you get motivated to read your bible this year. You will never regret diving into God's word and seeking his Love.
Kisses
Admiria
